Replace the example IDs and URLs with your own. A successful create typically returns HTTP 202. Field rules: Training fields.

Minimal valid training

Online, fee-based offering (includes required fee_information; no country because format is online-only).

Country lookup example

Required when format includes on-site (4606). Search countries by name or ISO3, then use the integer id (not the ISO3 string):

Take id from the response and send "country": [13]. Do not send AFG or "Afghanistan". Omit country for online-only offerings.

Troubleshooting

Issue	Likely cause	What to do
Invalid taxonomy / unknown id	Wrong integer or name sent instead of id	Look up via /v2/sources, /v2/countries, or /v2/references/... and send integer ids
country rejected or missing	On-site format without country, or country sent for online-only	Include country when format contains 4606; omit country when format is online-only
fee_information rejected or missing	cost is fee-based without fee text, or fee text sent when free	Require fee_information for fee-based; omit it for free
Incomplete dates	Missing start, end, or registration_deadline	Send all three, or omit the whole dates object for ongoing courses
UUID / url mismatch	uuid not derived from the exact url	Recompute UUID v5; see Trusted URLs and UUIDs
Trusted URL rejected	Document url outside approved prefixes	Use a trusted document prefix; update prefixes via credentials
Invalid JSON / schema errors	Wrong types, short strings, social URL in event_url	Check the training schema and Training fields
body / how_to_register rejected	Replaced with “see link” or too short	Put the real description and registration steps in those fields
